WASHINGTON- Head of the Strategic Capabilities Office ,Will Roper shows his concern while talking to the lawmakers of congress to lower down the sustainment costs of joint fighter strike F-35 as he is deeply concerned and worried about the sustainment plan.
However progress has been made on the production side to lower the cost But If no success or management would be seen in decreasing the price then Air force will face problems and stop buying more joint strike fighters because despite of having 250 joint strike fighters the defense department is dealing with great challenges regarding the management, sustainment costs, shortage of spare parts and logistics system of F-35.
From the past few months F-35 sustainment team is working and trying its best to find out the possible way and solutions to increase the number of its spare parts and lower down its sustainment costs and finally get rid of the critical situation.
