On Thursday, a Soyuz spacecraft on its way to the International Space-station had a booster rocket failure in mid-air. The crew, Nick Hague, US astronaut & Alexei Ovchinin, Russian cosmonaut were forced to do an emergency landing. Footage taken inside the spacecraft showed how the crew were shaken around with the occurrence of the failure.

The launching of the rocket took place in Baikonur, Kazakhstan a soviet-era cosmodrome. Reportedly, the rocket passed smoothly through its first stages. Apparently, the booster rocket failure occurred at a higher altitude. The crew made a safe emergency landing according to Russian news agencies that had radio contact with them, whilst rescue teams were on their way to fetch them.
