During a meeting on Thursday, Prime Minister Imran Khan instructed the Finance Ministry to present the details about all loans taken during the past 10 years. The prime minister informed the cabinet that they will have to take even more loans for paying their previous loans. During the past 10 years the country’s debt ascended from Rs6,000 billion up to RS30,000-billion.
The PM wants details about where the money was spent, whilst he added that they will need to borrow money to pay the debt of the Orange Line Train-project. PM Imran Khan was confident that the “Naya Pakistan Housing Authority” scheme will bring great improvement in Pakistan’s economy and stated that the project will be launched via a one window operation.
