Pakistan’s first-ever conviction for child pornography: Sargodha man sentenced to 7-years & Rs1.2 million fine


 Lahore (Monitoring Desk) In Pakistan’s first-ever conviction for child pornography, Sadat Amin from Sargodha was sentenced to 7-years imprisonment & a Rs1.2 million fine. He was found guilty of participating in a global child pornography syndicate involving Italy, Sweden, United Kingdom and the United States. Over 650,000 videos and pictures of digital content associated with child pornography were confiscated. Amendments to the PECA (Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act) were suggested by the FIA.
