On Monday, in the 5th ODI (One Day International), Upul Tharanga, Sri Lanka’s captain opted to bat after he won the toss in Sharjah. Pakistan aspires for a whitewash as the batting line up of Sri Lanka collapsed with a meager total of 103 runs. Pakistan replaced Junaid Khan with Faheem Ashraf, leading with 4-0 in the series, whilst three changes was made by Sri Lanka from their line-up after losing the 4th match in Sharjah with 7 wickets. Usman Khan took 5 wickets, whilst Hasan Ali and Shadab Khan each took 2 wickets. Sri Lanka replaced Suranga Lakmal, Lahiru Gamage and Akila Dananjaya, with Vishwa Fernando, Dushmantha Chameera and Jeffrey Vandersay.
