Coronavirus in Poland. Mateusz Morawiecki convened a meeting with opposition clubs in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. – Everyone was able to rise above the divisions on the coronavirus, concrete proposals were made by the opposition – stated the head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister Michał Dworczyk.
The meeting at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister started at 15:30, and opposition politicians arrived. The Civic Coalition is represented by Tomasz Siemoniak and Marcin Kierwiński. Marcelina Zawisza and Wiesław Szczepański from the Left were also present at the meeting. Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Paweł Kukiz appeared from the PSL-Kukiz15 club. Confederation politicians: Krzysztof Bosak and Jakub Kulesza also came to the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. Ryszard Terlecki, head of the PiS club, also took part in the conference.

Everyone was able to rise above the divisions on the coronavirus, specific proposals were made by the opposition, e.g. printing leaflets in Ukrainian – Dworczyk said after the meeting. The head of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister assured that the state budget would include additional funds to fight the virus. Currently, PLN 100 million has been mobilized from the general reserve, further funds are to appear from the crisis reserve.
He noted that if the Senate adopts the act without amendments, these measures will be unlimited
Michał Dworczyk also announced that every Monday a newsletter will be sent to every parliamentary club every morning. The document will contain the most important information about the coronavirus. It is possible that the prime minister will meet with the opposition again.

Let’s remind: on Wednesday, Mateusz Morawiecki announced that invitations to opposition party leaders will be sent to participate in the meeting in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. The topic of the talks concerned coronavirus: politicians talked about “drug safety in the supply chain aspect”, “mechanisms for joint purchasing in the EU – distribution, when the vaccine and coronavirus vaccines develop”, “benefit exchanges”.
